IN MEMORIAM: ERIN ECKFORDSAN BRUNO, CA. — On the morning of January 1, 2003, Erin Eckford, son of Little Rock
Nine member Elizabeth Eckford, was shot and killed by police in Little Rock. On behalf of
the entire Sojourn community, we extend our deepest sympathies to Elizabeth in her time
of grief. Elizabeth has inspired hundreds of sojourners over the past four years with her story
of tribulation and triumph at Central High School in 1957.
