DAY 4 — ATLANTA.
Participants spend the day at the King Center for Nonviolent Social Change and meet Rev. Clark Olson, who witnessed the fatal attack on Rev. James Reeb during the Selma protests of 1965. Mr. Olson answers questions about his experiences in Selma. In Atlanta, sojourners also talk with Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) about his experiences as a leader of SNCC. Then it's back on the buses for a trip to Selma, Alabama. When they arrive at Selma, a lesson is conducted on civil rights martyrs James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, Michael Schwerner and the 1954 lynching of 14-year-old Emmett Till. Congressman John Lewis.
