DAY 9 — LITTLE ROCK.
Sojourners visit Central High School in Little Rock and tour the campus. One of the nine black students who desegregated the school in 1957 -- Elizabeth Eckford -- meets the group, speaks and answers questions. On the bus for the final leg of the trip, Mr. Steinberg reviews key chapters of the civil rights movement, including the movement in Vietnam, the Poor People's March, the sanitation workers strike, and Dr. King's final, prophetic speech given the night before his assassination.
